Items needed:


2 ea             fillets of walleye

1 cup           morel mushrooms

¼  ea           sliced thin white onion

1 T              chopped garlic

½ cup          white wine

1 T              stone ground mushroom

1 Tc            chopped fresh basil

to taste        salt and pepper





Place a 12 by 12 piece of tinfoil on the table. Mix the white wine, mustard, garlic, basil, and morels together. Lay fish filets skin side down and top with onions. Place mushroom mixture over the top of the fish. Fold up the edges to seal in the fish and place on the grill. Let cook about 12 to 15 minutes.
