HAWAIIAN RIBS WITH BBQ PINEAPPLE

 

Items needed:

 

1 slab          ribs (special trim)

12 oz           pineapple juice

8 oz             water

1 ea             fresh pineapple

1 cup           BBQ sauce

to taste        salt and pepper

¼ cup          sugar

 

Method:

 

Pour the pineapple juice and water into a pot and bring to a boil. Add the ribs and let cook until almost tender. Remove the ribs and let rest on the counter until cool.  Slice the pineapple and place on the grill. Cook on both sides, when almost done sprinkle with sugar.  Place the ribs on the grill and finish with BBQ sauce.
